Are you using one stick, 4GB & one stick 8GB...?

I frequently edit any posts you may quote; please check for anything I 'may' have added.

Did you test boot it, before you built in into the case?

WHY NOT...?!

How

RAM should be two sticks... two 4GB for 8GB, not single.

Other specs ?

Also this board will now power a 12nm 8 core. Let alone a 4 core.

Clear the cmos. Reseat everything. Try the cpu in a different system (like a friend's system).

You need to get a better motherboard asap. The VRMs on that A320 aren't made for an 8 Core CPU.

is this a prebuild and if so how old

some computers such as inspirons or optiplexes have boards with ram limits less than others at the time

Try only one RAM stick at a time. But based on your description it almost sounds like your RAM is broken.

Remember to either quote or @mention others, so they are notified of your reply
