The cheapest new 144hz monitor on the market right now is this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078P2XN9M?tag=pcpapi-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1 , the Viotek GN24CB. Haven't personally tried it but it has good reviews. It's 24", curved, 144hz, 1080p, and $149.99. If you need something cheaper then that I would recommend looking into used options.

There are none that are worth your money. What parts? Likely you don't even need 550w.

The psu is the one part you CAN NOT cheap out on. If you get a bad psu, it could break and fry the entire system.

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

That's really not a good build. Using a last gen CPU, a graphics card that was outdated when it came out... this is much better.

I am trying to stay under 600 dollars and want an intel processor and decent gpu. Is there any good builds you know of that are like that?

Why intel? AMD has much better processors in the price range you are looking at.

That said parts today are more like the philharmonic less like ZZ top. So you got to match them to your work.

How on pcpart picker it says I need 300 watts. Do i need to go over a little just in case so i have enough power? For example like a 400 watt psu?

It’s not exactly accurate, but it’s closer than you think. A decent 450w unit will do. Like the CX from Corsair.
