Upgrading my gtx 950

TheLesso

Hey guys, I currently have a system with a

-i5 6400

-gtx 950 2Gb

My budget is $100-300, so what would be the best graphics card for me to upgrade to? I'm probably going to Try to upgrade my CPU later to. I would like to play games like Mount and blade bannerlord.

Thanks.

Hey there! I would recommend a NVIDIA 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT for a high tier GPU. I use the PALIT 2060 StormX which is a cheaper 2060 since it only has one fan instead of two.

Yes, if you do not want RTX, the 1660 Super is a great choice.

No its a single fan compact GPU, nothing to worry about. It's small, but bloody mighty.

GPU temp is fine. It's about 80 degrees Celsius which is average.

idk, i always thought that mini cards are running very hot especially the RTX mini cards since they have one small fan and an average size heatsink.

80c is quite toasty

if you gpu still runs its an easy decision - wait for the 3000 series release

unless you find a good deal on a 2060s/2070s something like that

I don't really use the RTX... yeah what a way to waste a GPU like this. (Not enough VRAM)
