Pc starts and closes all the time

I removed the cpu cooler but with it came off the cpu attached to it I then tried to take it off the cooler  by applying heat but nothing happened then I  finally took it off with a credit card .

 

I placed the cpu in the pc and it would take me  to either the motherboard logo or as far as Windows but then shut down . I waited 1 hour and now the screen doesn't show anything and the pc runs for couple of seconds and then shut down and restarts on its own on and on and on

did you re-apply thermal paste? also how hot was said heat?

If you judge a fish based on its ability to climb trees it will go its whole life thinking its a failure.

No I didn't intact right now I'm trying to run it without the cooler also the heat was pretty intense but diff lower than 90 degrees celcious

The CPU has built in overheat protections DUE to the cooler not being on the CPU...Its a protection that's built in to prevent it from frying the processor.

Just installed the cooler on the cpu but still nothing happens

put thermal paste on it, you might've killed it tho

The cpu needs the downward force to push the cpu in socket you probably burnt that cpu up.. never ever start up a pc without the cpu cooler on it.

But the motherboard socket is ok to put a new cpu yes ?
