Running an external psu for just gpu.

Go to solution Solved by Haro,

You can get an external PSU for just the GPU

But what PSU are you thinking of?

Hello.

I got an oem pc for free.

It have a 210w or something psu which is enough to run its cpu (i5-3470) and everything else but not gpu.

So motherboard have a 16pin and there is no 24pin to 16pin adapter in my country.

I want to add a cheap gpu like rx 570 and get a 550w psu to runs just the gpu and I find ADD2GPU for just 1 usd (this thing)

So I wonder can I run this for like one month or two till stock get available and I can build a ryzen system?

MWE White v2 is certainly not the best

But will do the job.

You can also get a cx450 and that'll be more than enough
