Im currently building myself my first gaming computer. I have built everything and connected most cables but i have no idea what this cabel does, what cabel it is and where on the motherboard I'm supposed to connect it. Thank you for the responses in advanced.

That's front panel USB 3.1 Type-C.

What's your motherboard ? Not a lot have it

CPU: Ryzen 3 3100. Board: B550m TUF plus. Memory: 16 (2x8) 3200 cl16 Hyper x Fury RGB. GPU: Gigabyte Windforce 1650 super.  Boot Drive: MX500. Case: Antec NX500 (Quite crappy. :p) PSU: CX450. 

 

Hehe, Meshify c is a kewl case.

It's a cable to connect your case's USB type C connector to your motherboard.

If your motherboard has this connector (which not a lot do), then it will be found here:

If your motherboard does not have this connection, you have three choices:

1. Get a motherboard that does have this connector

2. Forget about the USB type C and just leave the cable not connected

3. Get an adapter that turns a USB 3.0 header into a type C header, like the Silverstone CP14.

Thank you for all the information and the options. I might be blind but i dont belive i have that connection.

Your motherboard indeed does not have the appropriate connector, so you have to make one of these choices:

The Z390-E does have this connector, for reference. Seems pretty similar otherwise.
