Good GPU pairing with a i7 875

Not too sure how much more I can add. I am throwing together a system to sell and have some GPUs on hand. I am hoping to get a few GPUs for an idea of which one to use with this i7 875.

I'd say something max. GTX 1050 when it comes to performance.

RX 570, 1650S or about the same level of performances should be ok.

Considering that CPU is slower than a modern Pentium or Athlon dual core , I'd say the 560 is the best GPU that will get only slightly bottlenecked.

Your RX470 should pair up nicely.

GTX 560 TI is a similar age. Would have been a good system at the time.

 

RX470 would be the best card I would pair with this.

I don't really know much about first gen intel cores tbh. For me, he's probably gonna lose some frames compared to a perfect situation with absolutly no limitations, but It should be fine ?
The oldest thing I worked with is a sandy bridge, and the user of this CPU was pairing it with a 570 with absolutly no issues. But it's way stronger in IPC and frequencies.

His CPU is slower than the infamously bad FX6 models. That's why I am saying that modern cards are a waste of money unless he plans on upgrading the entire system soon

because the 560 and 470 are closer matched when it comes to performance than the 470 and 580, seeing as most people are suggesting the 470 and saying the 580 would be a little overkill i just thought you made a mistake.
