iPhone exchange display via HDMI?

I will not try to connect an iPhone via HDMI, I know this works. I would be interested to use an old iPhone 8 screen as a "Stat Screen" for my PC? 

I know there are several cheap options, but I have one left... So maybe someone out there knows a way to connect it? Or a way to build a PCB with a port for it?

Using an iPhone for that isn't a great idea. Just get a small HDMI screen for eg. a Raspberry Pi and attach it as a separate display if you really need a stat screen.
