1650s plus 3400g bottleneck?

To me it seems you are running cs go like a dream then.
Psu as i have been taught doesnt affect fps.
Motherboard can affect fps but as far i know it, its nothing to be bothered about.

To me it seems that there is no bottleneck, cs go doesnt seem use more resources,
but should it give more fps on faster cpu? Maybe? 3500 has two more cores, it might make a difference.

I wouldnt worry about it, getting over 144fps is plenty.

Cs go isn't my issue my friend, it's apex.

Yes its a weird reso, but stretched weirdly makes it better to spot players in cs go

I know psu doesn't affect performance,i wanted to know if my gpu was underpowered?

My monitor is atleast 8 years old 1600x900 native, acer.

Oh, sorry i didnt understand earlier.
But this is what you could expect minus the resolution.
And i think you should always play in full screen no matter what.

Sorry my man, i dont have much technical knowledge when it comes to these things cuz im pretty new, all that i know is. My friend has a 3500 and 1650 super. We play the same games, but he gets like twice the frames i get in apex and valorant. But he plays at 1080 and i play at 1600x900. So logically i thought, i should be getting more frames than him. But im not.

Please do tell me if there is something wrong with my logic. I just wanna know why this ain't working as it should be,or if I'm just being paranoid. I don't really know about the metric. Is it power limited? Is it underclocked? Is it fault? Is my cpu too weak? I dont know man. That's why I'm here

Ah.  The size of the screen doesn’t matter in this case.  A 1650 super can drive 1080 no problem.  The gpu and the entire rest of the computer do different jobs in gaming.  A 3500 is 6/6 ryzen2.  You’ve got 4/8 ryzen+  A generation behind (so less single thread speed) and 2 less cores (though more threads)  gpu is the same, but the gpu isn’t what makes fps in this case.  It just determines how that fps can be seen.  Reducing screen size and rendering quality makes the gpu do less work and if the gpu is what is running at full bore those can matter.  At such small resolutions it’s almost certainly not.  The question is is your cpu running at full bore and if not why not?

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

No it's not, and that's what i want to know.

DDU to test if it helps?
You could also run these one at time in CMD as administrator to see if they do anything.
sfc /scannow
DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
I like to use them after windows updates to make sure its not the culprit.

Have you done these? Could be a good starting point.

After this, there should be only ram speed that makes the pc in previous

link faster than you have. Btw how much and what ram do you have? Just curious.

Other parts doesnt affect fps so much.

What fps do you have in apex with the settings that previous youtube link had?

EDIT:
Ram used in that links pc is 3000MHz CL15 2X8GB

Around 80 or lesser fps in apex

would a bios update be of any use?

Im atleast 4 version behind and 2 3 of them say improved system performance .But im a bit scared to do it cuz im worried im fuck it up so
is it worth the risk? Please advice

here take a look at my cpu usages

my gpu isnt even reaching 80% meanwhile the guy in video is almost maxing out his gpu

It might be hitting max because of averages as stated earlier.

But him and I have the same gpu and cpu, then why is it different for us?

Ok, you have about the same hardware then.
I think you have enough space for pagefile. -Could reduce performance if there is not
And you have pc clean of viruses or other malware.
Hdd is defragmented. I think you know but never defragment any ssd if you have.

Then theres just about one thing left that could be holding you back. and you said it

Updating bios could definitely help.
But as you said and clearly know. You have to be very careful with it.
Power loss or other reason that interupts update process turns motherboard in to sad toy.

I think its complete list of what to do if performance doesnt match.
If anyone knows better, please help us :]

EDIT:
Oh, one thing. you have made sure you are running ram at that 3000mhz?

Yes i checked it is running at 3000mhz, i updated my bios, i tried ddu, didn't work. Now I'm going to do a fresh install of windows. Even Google doesn't show much hope :(
