PC Part Picker list critique

Go to solution Solved by Gravy59,

Critique finished.

Hello everybody!

I have a budget of $3600 (roughly). At maximum my budget is $4000. I have a PCPP list for the ultimate mid tier blender 3d / gaming / work PC. I would like you to critique and maybe even modify my list.

Rules:

1) No changing CPU brand. (AMD! AMD!)

2) Please don't change the motherboard or case as well - unless you have a very good reason for it.

3) The CPU cooler is not gone, it is on Newegg and will be back in stock soon.

4) Try to fit as many AuraSync parts in as possible so I don't install 700 different RGB apps

Thank you!

Edit: Whoops! That was dumb. Here's the list

I just picked the closest ROG one. I don't want several RGB apps on my PC so I just went with AuraSync.

don't get it for $350, no matter what... its whatever for like $150 max (as the brown was on newegg), but it's not worth $350

Seems like a good build to me. I feel like you could possibly add some faster RAM though. If I remember the x570 can pull off some impressive speeds (At least with over clocking?) Because of this it might not be a bad idea to spend a few more bucks on a 3600Mhz or higher version.

Looks very nice. All choices are good, but there's a couple i would change.

-I know you dont want to change the motherboard, however you really dont need to spend $500 dollars on a MB. Something for $200-300 will easily handle the 3900x. Check out hardware unboxed's x570 roundup for suggestions.

-Ive heard the LG 27GL850 is the best 1440p monitor so I would suggest looking at it, and I believe it is a little cheaper. However, its only 144hz, so if you feel you can tell the difference, stick with the Aorus

-Dont buy the reference 2080 unless you plan on installing a custom waterblock. You will get better cooling with a board partner model. Since you want all things aurasync, you could get the Strix model

-Try and get 3600mhz memory

Otherwise, looks like an amazing build. Enjoy :)

Now the price is $3320.85 instead of $3540.86

I think the build looks good but I personally don't like the H510i, especially at $150.  It's not terrible as a $70 "dumb" case as the regular H510 (non-i) but at $150, it's blown away by competitors like the Lian Li O11, Meshify C, or BeQuiet Pure Base 500DX.

H510 Elite, H510i, same thing basically.  The H510 only makes sense as a $70 case, the H510i and H510 Elite, are both way overpriced.

Update on the case: is there a good case that looks like the black NZXT H510 Elite with good airflow and front fans that you can see (if possible).
