Um, erm, I mean, you can use software like Breakaway Audio Enhancer or Voicemeeter Banana to create a system-wide EQ if you're looking to shape your music, or you can invest in an external AMP/DAC combo from a company like Focusrite or Schitt Audio. I'll leave the specifics to someone more knowledgeable though, as I'm far from being on the up-and-up when it comes to higher quality audio gear.

Desktop: KiRaShi-Intel-2022 (i5-12600K, RTX2060) Mobile: OnePlus 5T | Koodo - 75GB Data + Data Rollover for $45/month
Laptop: Dell XPS 15 9560 (the real 15" MacBook Pro that Apple didn't make) Tablet: iPad Mini 5 | Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 10.1
Camera: Canon M6 Mark II | Canon Rebel T1i (500D) | Canon SX280 | Panasonic TS20D Music: Spotify Premium (CIRCA '08)

To make music sound better here are your options from best value for money to worst.

1, remove 'enhancements'

2, use a lossless file

3, get better headphones

4, get an external audio solution

Would have thought 3 and 1 are the same thing and I'd put them above 2. I mean ALAC or FLAC do sound better but £20 headphones are £20 headphones.

But removing software enhancements is free and new headphones aren't, this isn't a list of what will make the biggest difference it's a list of what will cost the least.

Was value for money... But anyways getting everything to FLAC or ALAC can be expensive. and removing profiles won't magically transform a bad pair of headphones into a good one. If that improves the experience by 5% I wouldn't say it's better value than a set of headphones that cost say £100 that improves it by 70%

Thanks, i messed with some of my spotify settings and it actually made it sound better. I might look into an external audio solution, but will they work with the headphones i have? theyre bluetooth.

No, an external solution can not make bluetooth headphones better. There are decent cheap wired earbuds and headphones (KZ immediately comes to mind sub$10) but no, nothing can make your bluetooth headphones sound "better". They can make it sound different for sure but nothing can make it empirically better.
