Looking for some help on my PC.

This is my existing PC build, and I'm not running into any issues as such, just looking for any sorts of hints/help to increase efficiency and performance. My cable management is a mess, and as shown in the screenshot my CPU which holds my OS, is underperforming and causing longer than usual boot times.

 

Other things worth mentioning, I'm pretty dumb when it comes to building compared to most of you guys

I'd also like my 1080 in GPU slot #3 at the bottom of the Motherboard, but then it's directly against my PSU, and I don't think the airflow is very good then? but I could be mistaken.

 

I'm fairly sure I ran into an issue when I had a certain SSD in a certain sata port one of my M.2's stopped working (in prior times).

 

This post is kind of a mess, but any help/questions please ask me, looking to mainly fix the 120GB SSD issue though.

Don't trust userbenchmark for  your hardware performance, it said that my SSD was in the bottom 1% even though it was fine. Benchmark it normally with something like crystal disk mark or ATTO.

How full is the drive? What OS are you on?

I would but once again (although I haven't read much into it), I'd want to transfer all existing files from my 120GB SSD (C drive which contains my OS, etc) - and I'm not sure of how complex/annoying that is.

Total size 111GB, space free 14.6GB, Windows 10 64bit pro.

There's drive cloning software which makes a copy of your drive to a new won without having to reinstall everything.

For an SSD you want more free space than that, generally ~25% free space is recommended for the best performance of your SSD

Do not use UserBenchmark, Steve at Gamers Nexus did an entire rant on why it's trash (there's 0 controller variables for correct testing, is the tl;dr), You stuff like ATTO, CrustalDiskMark and compare the drives to what values they should have, use stuff like FireStrike, and Heaven, etc to test the GPU against known test averages for it, and do the same with the CPU with Cinebench R15, and R20.
