Gaming/Work Laptop with great battery

Hi, im looking to buy a laptop for gaming and work, i currently have a lenovo Y740 with RTX 2070 maxQ with 16g of RAM and i7 9750H, 256SSD 1TB HDD, this laptop is good but battery dies very quickly and i need something with plenty of battery because i hate being wired up all day, my budget is 1800-2000 bucks, what do you recommend, preferably not macbooks i had them in the past but i have seen more and more issues coming on the new models so i prefer to stay away also i would like to be able to upgrade it along the way if possible.

Thank you for your help.

gaming and good battery life dont go well together, but i had seen reviews about the TUF a15 and it has decent battery life. i dont see why you would need to change your current laptop though

I know while gaming battery wont last, but while im working that is the issue i need it to have great battery life, i work 10 hours a day so i don´t want to be plugged in all day , thats the issue with the one i have it does not last for 1 hour, and i´m just using word or something like that, so i want a laptop that has great battery life for my daily tasks but also supports decent gaming(plugged in of course) so i can be able to play when i want.
