My GPU goes up to 100 degrees

Hello,

I have a Radeon R9 380 GAMING 2G and recently it started to get up to 100 degrees. Its about 5 years old and the thermal paste hasn't been changed, but I'm not sure if this is the cause because I didn't have any problems till now. It happens only when i play a heavy game (for this gpu at least) like Apex Legends and the card stays at 100% usage, but i played this game last year and i had no problems. How can I figure out why is it heating up so much recently and how can i prevent that?

Definitely re-paste it, try removing your sidepanel to increase airflow as well.

if you have msi afterburner change the fan speed manually to a higher speed
