GTX 1080 AOC Stirix 8gb OC Black screen upon boot-up but my card loads - is my card dead?

Just wanted to find an answer to my issues is my card dead?

 

So, I have just decided to build my bro a PC for his birthday and wanted to put a pc together out of my older parts.

 

I put all the parts together and have noticed no post visiable from the card, However the card powers up and RDB lights all apear with the noises.

 

Ive tested all the ports, ive tried diffenent monitors and even different computers.

 

ive even changed the cable. no luck ive noticed that the screen lights differnetly withe the screen pluged in like a slight increase in brightness. But NOTHING.

 

The Card is the GTX 1080 8GB Advanced edition. the card was packeged and not touched for mounths since ive moved on to RTX 2060 founders.

 

i'm based in the UK and RMA would be nice but my warenty ended a year ago. any advice would do?

 

any help would do.

If card doesn't boot on different test platforms, it's probably dead

@Adzy_noobnoobHave u tried putting the card in a different PC?

 

It might not be the card from what you have suggested here.
