5600XT Sapphire Pulse or the Gigabyte Gaming OC(the model names are links to the respective PCPP pages)

If you/your nephew value a cooler and quieter operation I recommend the models that I linked. Otherwise go with the cheapest 5600XT(which is the Asrock one), for most people the Asrock would probably be good enough. I would avoid the Mech OC unless it was cheaper than the Asrock, for that price go for the Pulse or Gaming OC linked in the quote.

270$?! are you high?

I mean it's like 10-15% depending on the game, and the drivers are perfectly fine now, they aren't the 5700 launch drivers

would also get a dual fan 1660 super in any event.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

this for example...better than ANY 5600XT...and better than your 270$ card...hands down...across the board...for 30+ reasons i won't list:

+30$ yes...over the 2 years you'll use the card...thats 1.25$ a month...4 cents a day (old trick 😛 )

It has the same gaming performance as the 5600 XT, you just gain RTX for like minecraft ray tracing.

it performs noticeably better in most games...get your facts straight.

And it works well all the time in every game...when it loose it's not by much where as the 5600XT in a nvidia game that has just come out, like it's always the case...take 4 months before it finally perfom how it should...you know ''FINE WINE''

The 5600 XT is 3%(1080p)/1% faster in this comparison, and it works fine out of the box lol

Nobody is confused. The 1660 Ti is upward of 10% faster than The 1660 Super. The 1660S is much closer to a regular 1660 and not worth the asking price considering it's barely faster than a decent 590.

I don't know where you get the statistics, if you have it just post it here....10% faster, you are daydreaming...obviously 1660S is 10% faster than 1660, please do not mislead others..

It's too easy find evidence......what's going wrong with you? you see things by your own imagination? or you have a bad memory?

not sure...couldn't tell...but for the very little performance increase it offers over the 1660 Super i'd rather play it safe and stick with the nvidia echosystem...since most developers (therefore most softwares and game engines) are still to this day designed with and for nvidia hardware.

This is a very false statement. 80% of our development team in the office uses Radeon due to the value proposition when deploying hundreds of cards.

It works fine. We have 7 at work in the QA team. Nobody has had a single issue. We have had them from release. Got them at OEM pricing and the guys have been fairly happy with thrm
