How can i use my rx560x as my main gpu instead of the vega 8 graphics

Disable the iGPU in bios, and make sure the monitor is plugged into the GPU not the motherboard.

i just bought a acer nitro 5 today and i tried to play csgo and i just got 30 fps. i saw the radeon settings that vega 8 was my main gpu instead of my rx560x. can someone help me :(

I don't think that would apply to a Laptop(at least that was what appeared when I searched "Acer Nitro 5").

Not really sure how Laptops do the change though, sometimes i think the software from the manufacturer will do it but not sure. Turning off completely would likely not be that good for the battery life so there should be some way to toggle between the Vega and the 560.

Set the primary GPU in BIOS to your primary gpu, and of cource change the input from iGPU on your motherboard to the graphics cards RX560X.

If the  cable is conneceted to your iGPU it will always be slow.
