Here's what I have so far.

CPU - Ryzen 5 3600
MOBO - MSI TOMAHAWK B450 MAX
Memory - 16GB of dual channel ram (the one I chose says 3000mhz)
Storage - 1TB of SSD
GPU - Radeon RX 5600XT
Power Supply - 700w Bronze

Looks like plenty for music editing. Be sure to choose a reliable PSU from this forum post:

My Budget would be a mildly flexable $1000USD (1500 MAX if including Peripherals).

I live in the us for reference on what I can get, and my currency.

I'll be mostly using it producing music in a DAW like FL Studio. I also would like to run emulators like Dolphin for Wii and Gamecube games, and also just kinda have headroom to play newer games at reasonable framerates. Being able to record them too would be a bonus.

Here is my PC Part Picker list so far: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/
I want to be able to use this with a 144hz monitor. Refresh rate is definitely more important than the resolution. Basically.. just modest stuff. If anyone could help me that would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have memory already? If I was you I'd go with 16 or 32gb of 3600zhz memory. As ryzen works alot better with high mhz memory

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600

GPU: Gigabyte gtx 1660 Super oc 6g
Mobo:MSI b450 tomahawk max

RAM: 32gb ddr4 lpx vengeance 3200mhz

Storage: WD sn550 1tb, Baracuda 2TB HDD (*In use), Hitachi 2tb HDD, WD 0.5tb HDD (both HDD knackered)

Case: Corsair Carbide Series
