Advice for a entry level gaming laptop

Hi im thinking in buying a cheap gaming laptop for example:

MSI Gaming GF65 THIN 9SEXR-249 Laptop (Core i5-9300H/8GB/512GB) RTX2060 for 900$

or

MSI GF65 Thin 15.6 Gaming Laptop i7-10750H 8GB RAM 512GB SSD 120Hz GTX 1660 Ti for 1089.99$

which one you recommend? i know both i have to upgrade to 16gb dual channel

i want to play GTA V, X-plane 11, Fortnite and some photoshop , illustrator works

Go for the second one you will get a better CPU and the 1660 ti has been proven to perform just as good as a 2060. You will also receive more satisfaction out of 120 hz refresh rate since you will be able to run your games as high as that. I also like your game choices i also play x plane and Fortnite. and realizing this now the second one has a 10 series cpu which is much more powerful than the 9th gen i5.

this might be a little tough.

in the CPU lane, the 10750 edges out.

but in the GPU lane, the 2060 edges out.

basically what youre looking at is:

better GPU, or better CPU?

whichever is more important to you i would reccomend.

stuff is cool. stuff that has fancy lighting is cooler. stuff that has fancy lighting and works is the coolest.

i game so i know a bit abt gaming tech, not much abt professional tech.

writing this as i finish a 3 hour D2 sesh so excuse anything wrong.

eh. 3000 series are coming out, cards that are 2 gens behind will fall pretty fast. just look at the 900 series.

yeah a 2060 will do swell. i have one, with a i7-8750h and it gets me 50-60fps 1080p high/ultra on most aaa games.
