What do you think of this specs? Acceptable for moderate gaming?

My friend wants to buy a good enough pc to play some competitive games (DOTA 2, CSGO)

Will this be enough?

i3 6th gen 3.70 ghz

Asus H110

Cougar 600w 80+ Bronze

HyperFury 8gb ddr3 1866mhz

Palit 750ti

He's buying a full set for 400$ inculding 23inch monitor a tower with fans and a 1 terra drive

Will he be getting the best value for his money?

all that for $400 probably the best he will do. thats like a 2015 budget build

but he will still have to save up later on since there is no real upgrades. better off buying a new system next vs upgrading unless he gets the parts cheap or free.

So if you were him, would you be happy with the deal?

I'm thinking of recommending him to Ryzen CPU's since it packs a punch

it comes with a monitor so yes. you can get ryzen but for $400 a whole rig? eh, maybe get to like $600-$700 and get a good rig.

a monitor is like $100, drive is like $50 really should have a SSD that like $80

if hes buying all used maybe.

what parts does he need? just the PC? does he have like keyboard and mouse. will he need to buy windows 10?

He's starting from scratch. No Keyboard, Mouse and Monitor.

It's his first pc. And I want to direct him to a good one because he absolutely don't have any clue about pc

And I want his 400$ to be spent on a not so crappy pc

If you need all that I would save more money. again unless you are going used. $400 is what people on a budget usually spend on a GPU + CPU then like $200-$300 on the rest.

Maybe look for a used like x580 or 390 and try to find a decent cheap CPU and mobo to pair it with. 16gb of ram and decent PSU

The Ryzen 3 1200 is close to two times faster than the i3 6100
The RX 570 is over two times faster than the 750 Ti
The Corsair CV Power Supply isn't great but it won't set his house on fire under load.
The board is better and can support an upgrade to say a Ryzen 5 3600 in the future.
The RAM is surprisingly decent value for the price

that's the extent of his budget. he won't go higher than that.

In that case consider the above build I've listed but get a used 1060/570/580 for 70-80 USD. Seriously, the system he's being offered is a rip-off and will likely fail due to the extremely poor quality and dangerous power supply.

The i3 and GTX 750 in that build really are quite underpowered.
