b550 B550, B450, or X570?

I’m in a little bit of a pickle right now. I was waiting on b550 to be released, but as the day comes closer to release I’m having my doubts it will release. On top of that I was planning on getting the MSI tomahawk b550 board, but after hearing the price of $179 USD. I’m now considering just buying an X570 board that is less or just caving in and buying the b450 tomahawk board. Any advice on what to do?  Also If you have any other motherboard recommendations what are they?

Depends on what CPU you are going for honestly. Anything lower then the 3700x id suggest b550, 3700x and up id go x570.

the B550 should be sufficient, if you want to save money then the B450 is completely fine.

Hey, I am sort of stuck in the same boat here. Building a system with a ryzen 3600, 32gb 3200mhz ram and a 2070s. I am planning to OC my 3600, but nothing too crazy. My biggest doubts however come from limiting my future upgrades, and perhaps resale value. Should I wait for b550 or get a solid b450  or even a midrange x570? As a sidenote, I do want some decent IO.
