F@H Web Client Dark Skin with PPD comparison by GPU / WU

Go to solution Solved by LAR_Systems,

HI everyone,  Quick update.

There was some server updates today to deal with server resource issues so sorry if you  were impacted by some strangeness like WU averages etc. being a little strange while this occurred.

In addition to the cleanup you will now find that for GPU projects the Atoms and Cause is reported on the slots.

Atoms and Cause coming to CPU slots soon.

image.png.96a2a24471ee3392c37e18b8310adc99.png

The PPD indicator has been updated so there is a +/- 10% tolerance for the red or green indicators coming on for when you GPU slot is operating within this "Average" range making it a more useful indication as to when PPD is out of the ordinary.

Project pages on the database site have been updated to show the Atoms, Core and project branch status of projects.

image.png.d3fcd4c830ec61537d13dc93b7450eae.png

And CPU based project pages (link found in the CPU slots in the web client) now contain the BETA charts for PPD-PLC (PPD per logical processor) as that system builds data and is under review.

image.thumb.png.03ed6ca321e14602de92ef37145c6c2c.png

These client based updates will trickle in to the wild over the next couple hours and take effect with a refresh of the page when they do.

yep this is from a computer from the office that got struck my lightning and the ssystem wont do crap but im hoping its just the PSU on the 7910 took the brunt but have to test the individual components...so why not stress test it :P flexo about to go offline to get upgraded to windows 10 2004 and will hopefully come up with the p5000

I suppose these lines in logs are caused by your extension @LAR_Systems:

GET /api/updates?_=1590893678541&sid=0ec6e6ffb7d1defbe7b5e179597e2903

They are spammed every 5 seconds.

If they are in the console log, that’s me with debug stuff that will be removed in the next release.  But that looks like the f@h regular intercom network call that is always running communication between browser and folding client backend. API calls to my server are only on triggered events usually on load an then each hour or so.

Yes, those are in Advanced Console Logs. Never used browser for folding so I never saw it before. That could be it! Tnx.

Again getting the -- instead of the GPU name. Wanted to check the current project since it does half the usual PPD, doesn't seem to have an entry for it yet, hope at least the data gets fed.

I'm have the same thing with project 13408. Some of the work units take 3 hours and others take 4 hours. It's a test project -

"Testing new core22 release v0.0.5 for our ability to roll out extremely large scale relative binding free energy calculations in support of the COVID Moonshot."

Edited to add-

WU - 13408 (622, 3, 0) took my 2060 nearly 5 hours other WU's for the same project are 3 - 31/2 hours

Thanks for the info, you're getting the right message for the new project... but the GPU should be populated and is a bug on my end.

New version of the client has been submitted to Chrome Web Store for approval which will hopefully address the issue.

I will post again with release notes once it's officially approved.

I had 2 WUs for the same project this morning so they should get in the DB soonish and they had normal PPD numbers. Paused and restarted the PC just in case, tried to resume but it dumped the progress, started back from 0 and with the low PPD, so I guess it's just a wonky WU. Dumped it since I didn't feel like running it for 5 hours.

Yeah... some of the test WU can fail, sometimes not so gracefully.  I run all my systems on the test branch config for worse case testing... I have seen a hard reset of a system before complements of factory OC on a GPU and the wrong test unit running on it.

@LAR_Systems

Question for you, when you click on help you get this menu, I was wondering... could you put the LTT forum in there too? I understand if not, just think it would be cool to be able to try to poach as many folder help as many people get folding as we can.
