Go to solution Solved by HDon,

I ordered a vga to display port adapter so now for the first monitor i have vga to hdmi and for the second monitor i have vga to display port adapter and everything is working fine

It's probably your adapter as you've mentioned. I believe these VGA to HDMI adapters typically only go one way. Meaning you can't send an HDMI signal into it and have it output to a VGA monitor.

That sounds very likely.

The adapted would have to convert your GPU's connection to the monitors one. The adapter you are trying to use was built to convert VGA to HDMI, not HDMI to VGA. Any adapter that converts the other way around should be fine.
