WD Caviar Blue or Seagate BarraCuda?

Ket117

So I'm stuck at deciding between WD Caviar Blue or Seagate BarraCuda. Both are 1TB with 7200RPM.

There's a few questions I'd like to ask:

1. Which one is quieter? (I know HDD can't be dead silent while operating but I would like one with somewhat quieter than the other)

2. Performance differences?

3. Overall better?

I have done some research on both hard drives and the reviews are pretty mixed so I would like to get some opinions from the community.

WD blue for consumer grade stuff IMO. But where you get the server grade stuff Seagate is better with Ironwolf.

Caviar blue lasts longer...in my opinion*

My PC is a fast boyo:

6700K - 32GB - 1080 - 256GB EVO

^^You don't need more info than this right?^^

The WD Blue or a Toshiba drive. Avoid the SeaGate Barracuda models like the plague
