Monitor or Gpu Upgrade

 Share

Budget (including currency): $500 AU

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Rainbow Six Siege and some video editing

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Ryzen 5 1600 AF, 8GB DDR4 2666 Mhz, Corsair CV550 Watt PSU, Geforce GTX 650ti BOOST and a Dell 1024p Monitor 75hz

Hi im stuck on whether to upgrade my monitor or my graphics card both of which are in desperate need of an upgrade. I do have a job but i just started and im on my work probation period which means they cannot put me on many shifts. I'm leaning more towards my graphics card as my choice of new graphics card is a GTX 1660 Super. My choice of monitor is whatever the cheapest 144hz 1080p monitor that they have in stock.

Any Help would be appreciated Thanks :)
