How to Stabilize an overclock

I am running

Asrock Taichi x370

Ryzen 7 1700

24 Gb 3200 Mhz Ram .

I am able to get my Cpu into Windows at 4.0 "Ghz" by upping the vcore voltage to 1.44v and multiplier to 4.0. However its crashing in cinebench.

What other settings can i change to stabilize this overclock.. My Temps are well under control 28c On Idle ...

Ive had this chip 24/7 at 3.950 and 3.975 @3.875v i just forget what other settings i changed

Lol...you didn't catch it...mines running at 4ghz+-...😅...

Anyway...you can down the clock speed to 3.8~3.9ghz...1.44v is very high...

I think the last CPU that ran at 4 MHz was the 8086 :D

You can either lower clocks a little or raise voltage (which you already did). Not all CPUs are created equal, some just overclock better than others.

Remember to either quote or @mention others, so they are notified of your reply
