not really good. those board are all bad. Bad VRMs. it will not handle 8 core cpus and it will not handle 6 core cpus any good

I currenlty am using a Gigabyte B8 "Gaming" Motherboard with a Kaby lake i5. Hasn't been half bad. Was trying to upgrade to 3rd gen ryzen and didn't wanna pay too much for a new mobo.

yes that is z390. but OP has b450. completely different sockets and for different cpus. the b450 is for AMD and z390 for intel. gigabyte makes good z390 and z490 boards but their b450 board lineup is pretty much very bad.

most of them ar pretty good. but their low end b450 and x570 boards are pretty bad. same with low end z370/z390 board. but their mid tier and high end boards are pretty amazing

the pro 4 and pro-vdh have better vrms than the other two boards you mentioned.

the pro 4 has the advantage of 2 m.2 slots, while the pro-vdh max is guaranteed to have the correct bios for ryzen 3000 series out of the box.
