i7 10700k or Ryzen 3900x?

I am in the market for a new PC and I'm not sure what to get, Intel i7 10700k or Amd Ryzen 3900x? Please help!!!

10700K if you do more gaming rather than productivity tasks, 3900X otherwise.

Or wait for Zen 3 if you feel like you can wait for a little longer (it's likely to be launching later this year).

depends on your purpose. If gaming, the 10700k is better, but on most productivity loads, the higher core count of the 3900x is so much better. Plus its cheaper and its motherboard is also cheaper.

and if im right its about September if im correct. 

Im with the mentaility of "IF IM NOT SURE IF ITS ENOUGH COOLING, GO OVERKILL"

get a 3700x or wait a few months

don't overspend on a 10700k

3700X or 3900X depending if you need the extra cores or not. The 10700k makes no sense to me. Basically it performs better than the previous generation but needing more power to do so. So in terms of money spent, both the older 9000 generation and AMD will actually save you money long term by loosing 10 to 20 fps or so in gaming. For a mix of production and gaming I'd recommend the 3900X. For strict gaming a 3600X or the the 10600k are pretty good candidates.
