I need to reset bios to factory settings

I've purchased this hp laptop 2 or 3 months ago and let it on the shelf for a while, when i got to it i realised that it the bios was password protected, i tried to remove it but when i try to i get prompted by this 

My fingerprint wasn't registered there and im afraid if i pressed F1 the laptop will lock out

It was meant for my father and if i got locked out he'll go mental

You could try contacting HP support, they would be the best to respond to your issue as they know their machines best. They have pretty good live support.

Got one of my 850g3 unlocked, they need profe of purchase, and the serial etc, they send you a file you plonk on a USB, and when it boots it unlocks the machine. Depending model there are some places that can generate the file for you without going through HP, but always safest to go with the OEM
