Question about Frame rate and Monitor Refresh rate

If you have a 60 Mhz refresh rate monitor and playing a game at 300 FPS compare to 60 FPS would you feel the differences in picture fluidity and smoothness or would you just feel the differences in the input lag

Yes there is a difference, and it is noticeable. Id suggest eventually getting a 144hz monitor as well and get the full return.

If you are at whatever FPS that is higher than 60FPS and you use a 60hz display, you wont feel a difference.

Yes it will be alot smoother but it is soo worth it to get a 144hz monitor

For example

60hz:crunchy peanut butter

144hz: creamy peanut butter

240hz: water

That's demonstrably false. Watch the LTT video...

Higher FPS will help with frame timings and perceived input lag.

Yes on 60Hz having higher framerate than it will be better.
