ryzen 5 3600 wort it? gen 4 worth it? motherboard upgrade?

i am bottlenecking my gpu go i am going to buy a net cpu but how does the rest of my pc handle a ryzen 5 3600 

also is it smart tu upgrade my motherboard?

and it waiting for gen 4 ryzen worth it?

The MSi B350M motherboard you have supports the 3600 / 3600X after a BIOS update.

Update the BIOS on the motherboard the latest 7A392N BIOS (using the 2400G), and swapped the Ryzen 3600 in.

 

Of course, if you WANT to upgrade the motherboard, you can do that too.

If you are planning on keeping the motherboard long enough until Ryzen 4000-series, grab a X570 or B550 motherboard.

Otherwise, B450 based motherboard is fine.

only in some games but mainly in valorant i am playing whith 50 fps witch shoud be 150 ish

altho it coud be beacus the game isnt optimised and stil a little new

ad hor a psu i have a bequiet system power 8 pro 600w

does it stil meet the requirements for the potensial upgrade and maybe for some overclocking?
