What happens if i have a to good gpu for my cpu

I have a i5-5600 and a gtx 1050, i want to upgrade to a rx 5600 xt and after i have that i am going to buy my brothers i7-3700k, motherbord and 16 gb ddr4. What happens if i put the rx 5600 xt with the i5 - 6400. Will it burn or do i just get less fps?

The CPU will probably be at 100% usage when gaming and you will get less FPS,

The question is if the CPU cooler is ready for it.

What cooler do you have?
