planning an upgrade but not sure about somethings.

so first of all yes i have checked pcpartpicker. everything works fine but for the motherboard and cpu it says it might need a bios update with an older ryzen cpu. i dont have any other cpus (beside the intel one im passing on to my brother.) the mother board is

Asus ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING

the cpu is the Ryzen 5 3600.

around the same, maybe $10-20 more for the board but it's worth it imo.

Can you post your entire planned build?

If you plan on buying a ryzen 4000 cpu later then wait for b550 or buy a X570. If you don’t and need to build a pc now then buy what you can at the moment

I just went thru this and bought a 3700X and X470 max board because I’m sticking it out til ddr5 with the current build then I’ll swap it all out on a new platform in a few years.

GPU:  Evga Rtx 3070 XC3 Ultra

Ram: Corsair RGB Pro 32gb 3600mhz
