Games to play when you have nothing to do

Haro

Just like what the title says

What games would you recommend if you have nothing to do

I only play csgo which inevitably gets boring and I have Minecraft which is really boring

So what games do you recommend ( preferably small in size as I don't want to wait for 100 gigs to install)

PC: Motherboard: ASUS B550M TUF-Plus, CPU: Ryzen 3 3100, CPU Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34, GPU: GIGABYTE WindForce GTX1650S, RAM: HyperX Fury RGB 2x8GB 3200 CL16, Case, CoolerMaster MB311L ARGB, Boot Drive: 250GB MX500, Game Drive: WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM HDD.

Peripherals: GK61 (Optical Gateron Red) with Mistel White/Orange keycaps, Logitech G102 (Purple), BitWit Ensemble Grey Deskpad.

Left 4 Dead 2 is pretty great.  It's cooperative instead of competitive (at least the campaign is), and has a Director system to keep things fresh.

I do really enjoy building Spacecraft and launching them into orbit in KSP (KerbalSpaceProgram) it is 75% off on Steam right now

and it is not very heavy on the filesize too.

if you're into that kinda thing that could be a fun new experience for you.

Cheers

Great game when you don't stumble on a 80 IQ team.

You could try picking up an MMO. World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy XIV, Elder Scrolls Online and Guild Wars 2 are all good options. Hell, you could argue that Final Fantasy XI is still worth it.

It's better to play with friends. As an 80 IQ player, I can tell you really stupid decisions can be laughed off much easier among friends.

I've been playing a ton of Titanfall 2 the past few days, great if you like fast-paced shooters with cool mechanics. It was on sale on Origin for $3! Though unfortunately looks like the sale is over now. Also definitely not a small install (30 or 40 gigs I think) but still worth checking out.

Depends what you're into. I recommend the Arkham Trilogy (Asylum, City and Knight) to just about everyone. Borderlands 2 is pretty great, Black ops 3 zombies is fun once you know what you're doing and learn the maps, Overwatch is nice and an event is about to start tomorrow I believe so that'd be fun to start. Devil May Cry V is about the most videogamy video game ever to exist too.

I never was into the black ops whole story idk why it just didn't fit me

For borderlands 2 I still have it on my vita ( best console ever ) and my vita still works till this day

Maybe the lithium battery is on the verge of dying but it's pretty ok for what it is 😛

And devil may cry looks good but maybe too good for me 😂

I wanted to recommend Dirt Rally 2.0, which is super fun (if you have a controller/racing wheel), but that is a 100GB+ install, so I probably shouldn't recommend that :P

My 'go to'  with simple games that you can easily get into are:

- Insaniqarium Deluxe

- Crazy Taxi

- Sonic Generations

Those four (including Dirt Rally 2.0) are my go to games when I just want to play something, but I am not sure what to play.

It's just a really fun 'wacky'/'crazy' game!

It's my personal go-to when I'm in an arcade hall too.

Plus gives me some nice 90's/early 2000's nostalgia, with the characters and songs (like those from the Offspring, Bad Religion and Method of Mayhem).

There is not much to do in the game, so I can't recommend spending much more than the 8USD on Steam for it, I personally got it in a Humble Bundle with a bunch more games some time ago.

I should really start up the game again this evening, just to clear all the achievements :P !!

EDIT: just for perspective, I have 5+ hours in the Steam version and a about 2 or so hours of gameplay time in the arcade on this game.

EDIT2: oh and it will likely only be fun if you have a controller. forgot to mention that.
