No video signal from GPU until restart with iGPU

I am having the problem that I am not getting an HDMI video signal from my GPU upon start-up (or iGPU if I switch during the same boot). I can only get a GPU display signal if I unplug my GPU then start the system with output to iGPU (I get MOBO signal here), then shut down and reinstall the GPU and start my system again. Then I have no problems from there. I have the latest CPU and GPU drivers and this problem arose out of nowhere; I hadn't installed new software, hardware, or driver to cause it.

Do you have the latest firmware for your GPU ?

Can you try ddu and see if that helps

And make sure you have the latest bios
