How to restore default GPU clock after an OC?

So I have light improvements when overclocking my gtx 1070ti. However, I wanted to go back to stock performance. I uninstalled Afterburner, is that all I had to do to make sure the OC is totally gone?

Use a program that reports the speed. 
could check with anything really. But you normally restore to defaults on the app when you don’t like it. Gpuz would be my go to, to quickly check.

Can I do on MSI afterburner?

The stock setting is coded in the bios already. When GPU-Z scan your card, i reads both the stock speed and the current speed.

most overclocking software tune your GPU by override that setting, the bios itself is read only. In other words, rebooting with set it to default unless you flash a modified bios.

You can use anything. But if it kept the ab files and you had the oc apply on startup it may come back. I doubt it but there’s a chance. But you’ll know when you try it.
