Why won't my second hard drive show up as a storage device

Spencer11

I recently found an old 500gb hard drive and figured why not slap that in my new computer the problem is I can't figure out how to store things on it. The hard drive shows up on device manager and my mother board bios but I can't figure out how to put documents on to it.

Make sure to partition it in Disk Management as NTFS, and to assign a drive letter.

Dont know right now whats going on. Is it partioned?

You can try Partition Master for example to change it.

But is 200mb realy worth the work around?

Is there anything on that drive that you want to save? If not, delete all three partitions, then create a new one in the unallocated space.

Make sure to quote or tag me (@JoostinOnline) or I won't see your response!
