Will a Noctua NH-D15 cool a i9 9900K properly?

Title says it all... Had a 9700K ordered, it got stolen in shipping, I got refunded went and ordered a 9900K instead on a whim because of the small price difference I found. It was an impulse born from annoyance/frustration at waiting 7 days to find out it wasn't coming, so now looking at the specs I realize I designed my build for a 9700K with no liquid cooling...
