Galax HOF 1070 Fan Switch Broken

So the fan switch on my 1070 HOF seems to be on the way out somehow:

GALAX GeForce® GTX 1070 HOF

The one with the 6 wires in the top left of this image. Does anyone konw of a place to get a replacement/repair it or, given I don't use it, should I be able to just cut the connections and solder them together permanently rather than having a switch?
