Ryzen 2600 + Mobo combo?

Hi all!

Currently rocking an i5 4460 paired with an RX570, thinking of upgrading to a Ryzen 2600, I think the 2600 will probably bottleneck the 570 but that's fine I need to upgrade my GFX card soon anyways.

Anyone got any good mobo reccomendations? I live in Australia so hopefully I can find an okay one for under $150 AUD (100 USD). I kinda wanna try out overclocking but I've heard that some mobos can be crap for overclocking so I was hoping maybe there's a good CPU+Mobo bundle or deal somewhere with an alright mobo for overclocking. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

get the 3100 or the 3300x instead if you are just gaming. And any b450 or b550 mother board will work fine with these cpus. Tomahawk motherboards have gotten really good reviews everywhere I have looked. Hope this helps.

Is the Ryzen 3 3300 really worth it? I was under the impression even a Ryzen 5 2600 wouldn't be that much of a step up from a 4460

And it has way more ipc than that of the 2600

It's 7nm

It has a wayyyyy better memory controller

It also doesn't have the worst chache latency

With better ccx and chache layout

It's an amazing cpu overall

I believe that the 3300x is cheaper at 120$ usd but, I can't speak for the market that you are in these are US prices. In the US the 2600 goes for 159$ on new egg so it should be cheaper and just a lot better.
