AMD 2600 reaches 53-57 degree C. (Stock Cooler) at idle with only browser running. Do I need to worry ?

The temperature where I live is around 40 to 42 degree C. in afternoon. The CPU temperature sky rockets like crazy to about 75 to 82 degrees when playing GTA 5 (medium) on an RTX 2060.I think the stock cooler is no good and the case has only 1 fan in front and 1 at rear. No CPU OC done here and is at base clk of 3.8GHz.No background tasks running that puts load on CPU.

Nah, the stock cooler is really bad. I have an Hyper 212, and even then, it goes to 50-54C when opening chrome tabs and stuff, at max load with the OC, I've seen 70ºC at max, and since you are using the stock cooler, that's expected.

It's actually quite normal especially if you have high ambient temps.

It is a direct result and there is no cure, Transistor density.

95c throttle point. You're still ok on temps.

Bad stock cooler. The Wraith Spire is miles ahead compared to this Wraith Stealth. I upgraded my r5 1600 to 3600. The temps are horrendous, 83 degrees while playing The Witcher 3, switched back to Wraith Spire and my temps never goes past 72 degrees even on AC Odyssey, when sometimes the CPU usage reaches 100%. I should also mention that my ambient temp is 18-20° So i'll ditch that stock cooler and get a better aftermarket cooler.

42 ambient is really high, so you're getting like 40 over ambient while gaming which is perfectly fine.

There probably are, but even the black edition with the RGB fan is like <50$ so, it's still great value, and you don't need much more with a ryzen 5.

The bundled cooler is the Wraith Stealth

What is the ambient temp?

What case are you using?

How is the fans/ventilaltion configured in the case?

Is the case placed against a wall or in a confined space?

The ambient temp. is > 39C. The case is Coolermaster K501L which is large enough. 1 fan in front as IN and and 1 at rears as OUT. The Case is not touching any wall rather its placed parallel to the wall for free air flow.
