Just built my first computer no image on screen

unskilledmoss

Just built my first computer when I turned it on there's nothing on the screen I waited for 3 minutes and nothing happened just don't know what to do. I got the AMD boot kit to update my BIOS but I can't even get to the BIOS as there's no image.

Looks like your mobo has HDMI out, and that CPU has onboard graphics. I didn't even realize that CPU would work in that mobo.... I am really not that well caught up on how many things AM4 supports.

Anyways, are you using the integrated graphics or trying to use the 1650? I would use integrated for now and see if that helps. I would remove the 1650 as well when you try that.

Now I've been waiting on it to boot or over 5 minutes

Its likely not happy if its taking that long. I would try and power cycle it. If that doesn't help, remove all the RAM except a single stick and try that.

I tried that it didn't do anything I put back in the boot kit now it's not working in just at a loss for what to do next

When you swap CPU's, did you reset the CMOS via the jumper on the motherboard?

You have tried to power cycle the machine a few times? Also, you have enough thermal paste for all of these swaps..?

Anyways, if the boot kit CPU is back in the mobo, you have cleared CMOS and power cycles a few times, as well as trying RAM in different slots and using only a single stick, (try both sticks, one at a time, in different slots), and it still doesn't work right, that certainly sounds like a mobo issue.
