Ryzen 5 Stuck at 1.5Ghz

you are system throttled, go to  regedit and change your amdppm.sys to 4  disable system throttle, this is a common bug in windows 10 and windows 8.

there's a bug in ryzen motherboards where it will lock the multiplier to 15.5.

usually its when you apply too much voltage than its happy with in offset mode. google it for a solution. I had this happen on my old X370 when i tried to do more than +0.162 offset voltage.

  • 8 months later...

This exact problem just occured to one of my setups. Cpu doesn't boost above 1.53ghz like it used to. I don't have enough time to search for a solution. Could someone please tell me how to fix it? Thanks
