Need help with buying my first gaming laptop

Hello I am looking at buying my first gaming laptop. I have never had a good laptop or PC before and I am looking at getting the MSI GF65 THIN (2020 version with the RTX 2060) it has a 120hz or 144hz monitor. I like the look of it and the fact that it is lightweight and am wondering is it any good or are the specs good. As I said this is my first proper gaming laptop (all I have gamed on in the past is Intel integrated graphics) lately I have needed to rely on GeForce Now, because my laptop is now starting to slow down a lot, and I really want to play CoD Warzone. The Laptop: MSI GF65 THIN (https://www.msi.com/Laptop/GF65-Thin-10SX)

Edit: My budget is around $1000 USD

We would need a budget if you want the most performance for your buck. The laptop you have chosen will perform very well in Warzone but in my opinion, I would never get that laptop because of how 'gamery' it looks with all those red accents. If you want something more subtle (but will run hotter), you can get the MSI GS65 or you can spend more money and go for the MSI GS66.

I misread titles/posts way too often--correct me if I don't.

What’s your budget? And are you doing any content creation or just gaming?

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.
