Anyone know a 14 by 9 inch cooling pad for a laptop

So I’ve been looking for a cooling pad to fit in my desk drawer since I use something similar to the “cleanest setup” that Linus did but I need help cooling my laptop

cooling pads are barely effective at best

I bought a rather expensive Zalman at the time only to find out its best feature was raising a bit the laptop improving airflow, regardless of having its fans running or not.

 

Eventually decided to hack the chasis (Dell XPS 17) to improve airflow, adding some dust filters of course, to much greater results than anything else I tried.

 

If you are set on trying external cooling go for the vacuum ones that seem to be more efective, albeit noisy.
