Is 50c too hot for idle temperature for my CPU?

I am using an i7 5820k (I know it is a bit out of dated) and i have a Cooler Master V8 Cooler for it and it idles at 50c. When i run games it goes to 60-62C. Should i be concerned about overheating?

No those temps are fine when gaming. But your idle temps are a bit high have you tried to reapply some thermal paste?

Are you using the High Performance power plan? 10-12C sounds like a pretty small difference between idle and gaming.

Also, what is your CPU usage at "idle"?
