Looks like your ISO is probably corrupt. Try other USB ports, this could maybe be because the drive is in a 3.0 port? Most likely though, you'll want to wipe the USB and remake your ISO.

Tried 2 cds and 5 usb keys downloading multiple versions of isos on 3 different computers. I have excluded any of these issues.

Man, that's really weird. What drive are you trying to install on? I've had NVME drives give me trouble trying to install before, could be that?

Have 3 drives, 1 barracuda hdd, one 970 evo and a crucial cx500. But i doubt thats the issue since i cant even get to that menu. I just press the [Install Now] button and this is what happens.

:(

So, you don't see any hard drives or partitions in the list when you get to the screen where you choose to install Windows? Do they display in BIOS?

You shouldn't need to install drivers unless you have a RAID and you need to install the RAID drivers. At least as far as I know..

Maybe try this? From microsoft forums:

  • If you are installing with USB drive, when it asks for driver, click Cancel. Once you are at the welcome screen, insert the USB drive to a different USB port. Then click Install Now to install.

- worked perfect for me.

That's genuinely strange......

If I understand you correctly you used the Microsoft tool to make the bootable USB?

Are all your drives showing in BIOS? I assume you want to install to the Evo drive? Try to remove the other drives you are not installing to and see what happens?
