Best Case/psu for my pc

Mando772004
Go to solution Solved by MiinD,

well saying that then get a 80+ Gold psu and 650w

so im gonna get a 2070s soon and i need a new case and a new power supply and i also want to liquid cool my ryzen 5 3600 so i can overclock it at 4.2ghz. my budget is about 920 dollars and the 2070s costs 630 dollars. Now i need suggestions for the best liquid cooler and psu and case that would all round up to around 300 dollars. any suggestions?

Straight Power P11 750 Watt and can't really say anything about cases because I can't find one for myself, maybe... Thermaltake View 51 TG ARGB?

I wouldn't spend more than 100 bucks on a case for a midrange PC. Would make more sense spending the 100 bucks on CPU cooling, more ram, better fans etc.

well not really. But dont you wanna save that $150 so in the future you have enough to upgrade you system because the 2070s isnt brand new gpu. the 5700xt will last about ten years the same as the 2070s.

how many years do you think a 2070s can last at 1080p gaming i have a 144hz monitor so im expecting atleast maybe 100fps or 120fps? Also same question for a 2080 super becuase i actually have 2 options buy a 2080 super plus a new psu or a 2070 super plus a new case and liquid cooling and new psu as well but i feel like the 0.2ghz wont make a difference on my 3600 cpu as i checked on yt. plus my temps r good in this case so which is more worth it

my temps while gaming are 65 to 68 for gpu and 80 max for cpu at 4ghz. would it really be worth it to get a 2070s instead of a 2080s?

if I were you i would get a ryzen 7 2700x with a 2070s or 2080s It doesn't make sense to have a  2080s wit r3600. But a r3600 with a 5700xt will be the best option that way you can get a 240mm aio cooler with a good and case adn psu. Youll get equal to even more fps

actually for me it does. the 3600 does not bottleneck the 2080s i actually checked a 3600 vs i9 9900k in games with a 2080 super and surprisingly the difference was 3-5 fps

Well since I just got it But it amazing. I get like 250+ fps on csgo and I haven't even overclocked it. Get the PSU I have it good but If you want a modular one get the Cooler Master MWE Gold

the case: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/ZHmxFT/fractal-design-focus-g-black-atx-mid-tower-case-fd-ca-focus-bk-w (great airflow, decent look)

decent psu: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/J7F48d/cooler-master-mwe-gold-650-w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-mpy-6501-afaag-us

You wont need a liquid cooler for oc. somehting like hyper 212 evo blacked or artic freezer 34 duo will do. AND btw Noctua NH d 15 or be quiet dark rock pro 4 will beat 240mm aio's.

I would recommend getting a 5700 xt and save your self $100 there pretty much neck and neck in benchmarks.

5700 XT is a good idea.

that aio is terrbile. be quiet dark rock pro 4 beats that aio by miles

that psu is for entry level systems: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1116640-psu-tier-list-40/

The case is good but Focus G is cheaper and will work as good.
