OBS Glitchy Recording

Vexer
 Share

Heya, I’ve been trying to record some Minecraft footage at 240 fps, for the smoothness and the recording has been to choppy and glitchy but my game is running smoothly. Do you know a fix?

GPU: GTX 750 Ti Windforce

CPU: i7 860 2.8GhZ

RAM: DDR3 3x 12GB RAM

If you’d like to see some footage, tell me

What are your OBS Recording settings. The game can run fine, but if the settings are wrong, the recording will be bad.

Some footage would be appreciated.

I found out that sometimes if you have a monitor more than 60Hz it can sometimes glitch or limit higher refresh rate monitors to 60Hz hope i helped

Yes, since apparently it makes your videos very smooth

sure thats true but that requires a lot of power in the cpu department to record such high framerates, something that you don't really have
