Im going to build my own desktop case

Budget (including currency): 200 USD

Country: Norway

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Will be used for a normal pc. and some light gaming 

Other details (I got a gtx 960 2gb, with an I5 6500K and a mini atx motherboard. ): 

 

The plan is to build a DIY case that im going to make for my girlfriend. I want the case to be as small as possible. 

 

I would really like some help with this. i have good time i need this to be finished in september.

suggestions

 

1. get a PCIE riser/extension. that would reduce the size of the case even more. if you place the GPU behind the motherboard, this will separate the thermals of the GPU and the CPU making them have their own intake and exhaust.

2. mesh sides. that will help with the thermals even without additional fans which also helps in acoustics.

3. either aluminum or wooden boarders- these will make the case more sturdy

4. Modular Power Supply- this will help reduce the amount of cables by a lot. making it neater and have less clutter

5. make it drawer style with magnetic lock. this will make it easy for maintenance and upgrades.

Im with the mentaility of "IF IM NOT SURE IF ITS ENOUGH COOLING, GO OVERKILL"

CPU             Ryzen 5 3600 (Formerly Ryzen 3 1200)

GPU             : ASUS RX 580 Dual OC (Formerly ASUS GTX 1060 but it got corroded for some odd reasons)

GPU COOOER      : ID Cooling Frostflow 120 VGA (Stock cooler overheats even when undervolted :()

MOBO            : MSI B350m Bazooka

MEMORY          Team Group Elite TUF DDR4 3600 Mhz CL 16
STORAGE         : Seagate Baracudda 1TB and Kingston SSD
PSU             : Thermaltake Lite power 550W (Gonna change soon as i dont trust this)
CASE            : Rakk Anyag Frost
CPU COOLER      : ID-Cooling SE 207
CASE FANS       : Mix of ID cooling fans, Corsair fans and Rakk Ounos (planned change to ID Cooling)
DISPLAY         : SpectrePro XTNS24 144hz Curved VA panel
MOUSE           : Logitech G603 Lightspeed
KEYBOARD        : Rakk Lam Ang

HEADSET         : Plantronics RIG 500HD

Kingston Hyper X Stinger

 

and a whole lot of LED everywhere(behind the monitor, behind the desk, behind the shelf of the PC mount and inside the case)
